Trend Alert: Studded Heels

Diane Kruger was the envy of every other woman on the red carpet when she stepped out in Christian Louboutin's much coveted studded peep-toes at the UK premiere of Inglourious Basterds on Thursday night. The Very Prive studded peep-toe resembles the label's wildly popular Mad Mary Jane; a patent leather platform seen on Kruger, aswell as the likes of Mischa Barton, JLO, Lindsay Lohan, Megan Fox and Vanessa Hudgens.

Budget to Blow Out: Bright Trainers

Being a strictly high heels girl, I'd never have thought I'd welcome the day when trainers were back in fashion. But after a season of high volume, sparkle and fantasy, there's something seductive about a pair of simple lace-up flats.

Budget: Multi-Coloured Flats, £26, Ked's

Stitched Trainers, £35, Puma

Metallic Trimmed Trainers, £280, Dior

Celebrity Style Trend: Dressed to a Tee

One of the biggest celebrity style trends to emerge from Glastonbury was the humble t-shirt, proving fashion's not always high maintenance.

Coco Sumner looked relaxed in her super casual combo, pairing an over-sized faded animal print tee with polka dot drawstring shorts and Hunter wellies.

Lizzie Jagger paired her owl print tee with cut off denim shorts and a pair of acid yellow wellington boots.

If you fancy your own, head to www.urbanoutfitters.co.uk where you can find an exclusive online collecton by designer Karen Walker

Best Dressed: Glastonbury

Ok, so we all know that dressing for Glastonbury can be a challenge, what with customary downpours, six inch deep mud and bustling crowds and as usual, the star's default uniform was cut-off denim shorts and Hunter wellies. But this brave lot deviated from the norm and showed off their style credentials by experimenting with different festival looks...

Lilly Allen shows off a more sophisticated take on the style combo that made her famous, pairing her twenties style beaded dress with a pair of...white trainers.

Peaches Geldof flaunted her pins in a pair of high waisted shorts and vintage lace-up boots.

La Roux showcased her unique style in a pair of gold hareem pants and a psychedelic print jacket.

Daisy Lowe worked one of the seasons hottest trends in this fringed mini, eclectic as ever, she paired it with pirate boots and a leather satchel.

Fashion Must-Have: The Body

Cotton Spandex Jersey Double U Neck Long Sleeve bodysuit, £27.00, American Apparel

The bodysuit is back. And it's no wonder why, unlike the other catwalk trends of yesteryear (trophy jackets, anyone?) this is one look that can be worn again and again. Pay homage to the nineties by pairing it with high-waisted jeans and a boyfriend blazer, or wear it under a suit for a sleeker silhouette. It's the perfect counterpoint to this season's high volume cuts, and there's no need to break the bank. Try hitting New Look for bodysuits in black, grey and breton for £6. Or, if you have more cash to splash, head to American Apparel where you'll be spoilt for choice, with basic styles (as above) in a variety of colours to shiny, spandex and zebra print numbers. My favourite is this red, crocheted body from Topshop Boutique

Best Dressed: The Royal Academy Summer Party

The guest list for The Royal Academy Summer Party never fails to impress and 2009 was no exception, playing host to some of Britain's most prolific artists and designers and emerging talent.  Tracy Emin, Stella McCartney and Yasmin Le Bon were a few of the guests who arrived for a preview of the summer exhibition, but whilst the gallery walls were lined with colour, the night's style story was black and white.

Poppy DeLevigne ensured the envy of her fellow female guests by arriving in the Chanel dress of the season and Agyness Deyn flaunted her fashion credentials in graphic monochrome. Tamsin Egerton looked effortlessly stylish in a white, strapless D&G dress and both Emilia Fox and Ben Grimes proved that a LBD needn't be dull, looking simply stunning in theirs.
