Glastonbury 24th - 28th June

What's the vibe?: Glastonbury's had the best line-up for years, so plays host to music lovers from all walks of life.

V Festival 22nd - 23rd August
What's the vibe?: The 'polite' festival, you could almost bring your mum. And the best loos of the lot.

Who's been?: V has, by far, the biggest celebrity turn out each year...expect to see Kate Moss, Sarah Harding, Kimberly Stewart, Alexa Chung, Denise Van Outen, Coleen McLoughlin, not to forget a few ex-big brother contestants hanging around the VIP area

Isle of Wight 12th - 14th June

What's the vibe?: Much like Glasto, there'll be both excitable teens and aging rockers.

Latitude 16th - 19th July

What's the vibe?: This one's family friendly. Latitude 'is more than just a music festival': you'll see stand up from some of Britain's best comedians, poetry recitals and readings from respected writers, stage performances from the likes of the RSC and there's even a bit of burlesque. 
Who's playing?: Grace Jones, Pet Shop Boys, Little Boots, Ladyhawke....and Vivienne Westwood! The designer will read extracts from her 'Active Resistance to Propaganda' manifesto, which aims to save the planet. 
Who's been?: Jarvis Cocker, Bill Bailey, Frankie Boyle, Esther Freud
