Lilly Allen: The New Face of Chanel



It looks as if Lilly Allen's Chanel obsession has finally paid off...The singer, who celebrated her 24th birthday on Saturday, was handpicked by Chanel's Karl Lagerfield to model in the A/W 2009 Accessories campaign.

Earlier this year it looked as though the self-confessed shopaholic's penchant for designer labels had finally caught up with her when she admitted that she had been hit by the credit crunch and had to sell her car. She told The Mirror: "I've been hit big time by the credit crunch. Actually, I just had to sell my car because I'm so broke." She then added: "Clothes, I'm always buying clothes."

 The price of Lily's wheel's (a £35,000 BMW convertible) could have bought her twenty-seven Chanel 2.55's...One in every shade, perhaps? And hey, there's alway the tube...Although, thanks to Karl, Lilly's money worries could be a thing of the past...The face of Chanel? There has to be a free handbag in that.
